In regular school, things start to relax and wind down at the end of the school year. At the end of the school year here things get super busy. On top of that, Amy and I decided to throw a birthday party for the girls before we leave for America. Amy's daughter, Mia's birthday is only a few days after Grace and Ruby's. We made the best decisions of our lives and had the party at a park! We invited the entire kindergarten. The party was excellent! Tons of fun! Here are some pictures to give you a better idea.
We had food!
We somehow had a frog!
And, Pinterest for the win, we had the children stamp their handprint onto a canvas for each of the birthday girls. How cute is that?
We had a water balloon toss!
Lots of playing!
And, of course, cake!
The whole group:
Right after the birthday party, Ruby took her test for the yellow belt in Taekwondo!
Just watch Ruby break this board. She's so awesome.

Then off to dinner with Jay and Nalisha!
Then, the best part, dessert at cafe street in Jukejong.
It couldn't have been a better way to close out our final weekend of our first year in Korea. It's hard to believe that we've completed the whole first school year of teaching abroad. It's also hard to believe that next weekend I'll be spending the whole weekend wandering around Target.
